Try Being a Really Bad Chessmaster

For most of my life, I never got into video games. In college, I had a bunch of friends that came from the Jersey shore (yes, that place) and video games were a huge part of their childhood. It was at that point that I ended up playing games like Robotron and Crystal Castles.

I would say I had a shortish addiction to both. In fact, we played Robotron so much that some of us would suffer in pain which we appropriately named, ‘Robotron elbow.’

Many years later, along with the masses, I got addicted to Words With Friends. I couldn’t get enough of it. And then I had to stop cold turkey. I spent way too much time on it. I’ve fallen off the wagon a couple of times but nothing that’s going to make me put on a hairshirt.
